We are well past the official midway point of the NFL regular season and as we hit mid-November, the action is as nonstop at online sportsbooks across the United States. The Week 11 slate kicks off on November 18 with TNF and the full schedule features 15 games since just two teams are on bye, and that is going to mean plenty of markets to bet on.
Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills
Indy’s five wins this year: MIA, HOU, SF, NYJ, JAX. Not exactly a murderer’s row. Buffalo’s stout run defense should be able to keep Jonathan Taylor in check, forcing the Colts to win by relying on Carson Wentz’s arm. Doesn’t sound like the most promising proposition.
Both of these teams are coming off dominant wins. The Bills are the better team with the better quarterback. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs finally looked truly in sync last week.
Meanwhile, Carson Wentz had a dud game against the Jaguars. Wentz may play better, but I like the Bills to keep it rolling at home.
Prediction: Buffalo Bills – 7.5
Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans
One of the most lopsided matchups of the week, the Titans finally get a break from a truly brutal stretch of their schedule: Tennessee played the Bills, Chiefs, Rams, and Saints over the past 5 games and went 5-0. The Titans have established themselves as one of the few consistently good teams in the league, despite their injury situation. Meanwhile, the Texans are arguably the worst team in the league. This one’s easy…or it should be.
Prediction: Titans – 10
Miami Dolphins at New York Jets
Miami has had a string of stronger performances in recent weeks in large part due to their defense improving. Talent was never the issue for the Dolphins—they simply weren’t playing well. That’s changed over the past two games, as Miami has allowed just 19 points. While the offense is still unreliable, they do get to face the flailing Jets this week. New York made the puzzling decision to go to Joe Flacco this week after Mike White predictably fell back to earth.
Prediction: New York Jets ML
Dallas Cowboys at Kansas City Chiefs
This is a short and easy one. What we saw from the past weeks is that Chiefs can score. And they also receive a lot of points especially against good teams. Cowboys are not just a good team, they are SuperBowl candidates. Chiefs are still looking themselves and are just a bad copy of what they were last season. I dont believe them, not at all to back them to win. But the points total IMO is easy to predict no matter how big is the spread. This is the most exiting match to watch this week , at least on paper. So i expect an outcome like 36-35 or so .
Prediction: Over 55
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
Another great match. This looks like a potentially underwhelming matchup between two teams with banged-up QBs in Kyler Murray (who may or may not play) and Russell Wilson. Wilson certainly looked out of sorts against the Packers last week, and Murray has missed the previous two games. The Cardinals have shown they can win without Murray .
