Week 6 of the regular season kicks off tonight in which Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles will host Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night.
It is a night in which Eagles will be looking for a surprise against the current champions and second win in a row, while the Bucs will be after third straight win, and fifth overall. Bucs enter the game as a touchdown favourite, with the over/under limit is set on 52 and 1/2.
Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed a powerful offensive strength with a 33.4 average PPG and failed to reach 20 only on one occasion , in the week 4 against Tom Brady’s former team, in an emotional game in which Bucs took the win with 17:19.
Eagles started in a pure fashion trashing the Falcons without conceding a touchdown with 6:32 in their away win in Atlanta they only managed to concede two field goals while in the week 2 they have been set down to earth with the loss at home against 49ers with 11:17. After this they have been a training sparring partners to the Cowboys in week 3 and Chiefs in week 4 with respective, 41:21 and 30:42 . Eventually Eagles bounced back in the week 5 beating the Carolina Panthers away with a great comeback.
The Eagles are 1-3 against teams with winning records when they play them. They have not yet won a game this season at home.
The Bucs are No. 1 in total offense and No. 3 in points scored per game. Their only loss this season was to the now 4-1 Los Angeles Rams.
This game is going to be a lot closer than anyone expects. Tampa Bay is just too injured to warrant a confident pick, and the Eagles are a little too inconsistent. Instead of taking either, the over is the best pick on the board. Taking the Eagles to cover is also a decent play.
Prediction: Over 52.5 (-110)
